Photography is an Investment

I think a lot of people forget: photos last a lifetime and can be passed down from generation to generation. They should be an investment. As your photographer, I will invest my time into you - before your session, during and after. I put in the time to scout out new spots for sessions, I send you videos and photos to get your opinion because I want to make sure that your vision comes to life.

You don't know what to wear? I have options for you! But more importantly, I am always just a text away. I would love to help you choose a color scheme and outfits that will work well with your session's location & the vibe you're going for.

Photos are an investment of time, communication, money, wardrobe - every little detail matters. I know this and understand. I want to help you through it. I don't want this to be a stressful process. I want it to be fun! I am on your team.

So take your time. do your research. Make sure you love your photographer - their work and their personality (and I won't be offended if its not me). Just know when you book with me, you will be getting a photographer that is going to commit to quality work, someone who likes to have a good time and get a little goofy, someone who hones in on every single detail with her OCD eye - during the shoot and after - and most importantly, you will be a getting a photographer who appreciates you and wants to hear what you have envisioned.

Since starting this photography journey, I have had to face the hard reality that lower prices lead to an overworked, stressed out, burnout, tired mama and photographer - which is the exact opposite of what I was going for. April of 2021 was the busiest month EVER for me. I was exhausted, irritable, overwhelmed.. It was not good for me and it was hard for my family. I came to the realization that people can budget for my services just like they budget for nails, lashes, hair appointments... all these self care things that get monthly... Capturing photos of your family and making moments last forever....?? Its worth the investment. HECK! My own family budgets for OUR photographer and our family photos annually. I've started to realize my worth and have discovered I do provide a luxury service. I do not want to be a "snap and burn" photographer anymore. As a mom of four boys and as an individual who is very family oriented, my time is VALUABLE!

Transitioning from at SAHM to a full-time photographer has been a huge transition for me and my family.

While I am so so thankful to be as busy as I am, I have had to make the difficult decision of raising prices to make the work worth the sacrifice and the investments I make 'behind the scenes'.
