How I operate
Once you reach out to me, I'll probably ask over a few more questions, clarify dates and times, things like that. From there, a contract and invoice will be sent to you via email. Once your invoice is sent, your deposit must be paid within 72 hours to secure your session time/date, package details and prices. I accept Zelle, ApplePay and Venmo. Next step is your contract. All clients have 1 week to review and sign their contract. Once those things are finished, payments can be made leading up to your session. Sessions must be paid for in FULL the day before your session. I always tell clients to send inspo photos my way or share ideas/specific poses they have in mind. If you are interested in using my client closet, PLEASE DO! It is open to all clients who book. We can also schedule an outfit consultation if you'd like. My client closet continues to grow so I do not have all items photographed yet so sometimes just seeing everything in person is just easier. I usually reach out to clients the day before their session confirming for next day/morning of making sure all final details are addressed. During your session, I will guide you on posing, show you images from my side and pay attention to details as I need. If there is anything you are uncomfortable with or any insecurities you have, I ask that you TELL ME before we start shooting so I can do my best to ensure YOU love YOUR photos. After your session, I sort through your entire gallery narrowing it down to all useable images. I send those images (unedited) to you for you to choose your favorites based on your allotted amount. When I deliver previews, there will be anywhere from 2 to 10 sample edit images to give you a good idea of what your final images will look like edited. These samples edits automatically get thrown into your final gallery and DO NOT TAKE AWAY from YOUR CLEINT PICKS! Once you choose your favorites, I make sure your gallery looks cohesive through editing and then I upload your final gallery and send you your link. Previews are sent within 2 weeks of session taking place (average is one week) and final galleries are delivered (on average) 3 weeks after you are finished creating your favorites list. While this is my current turn around, I am working on my work flow so I can keep to a next day previews and 2-week final gallery turn over for all sessions in the near future.

I think when I say "2020 was a year of realization", a lot of people can resonate with that. 2020 was... overwhelming. Not only on a National and Global scale - which we all know those details too well - but also on a personal level.
I found myself consumed by work, I was losing sight of things that were important to me and letting go of my self worth due to a toxic workplace. It was no good for me. I made the transition to staying home and eventually decided to explore my hobby of photography!

My Backstory
Since middle school, I have had an interest in photography. Believe it or not, I was ten years old when I took my first ever photography class at our community college. Growing up, I always enjoyed taking photos. Remember those disposable cameras and dropping film off at Walmart and anxiously waiting for them to be developed? YEP, I was a frequent visitor! Fast forward to high school: I really suppressed my photography. This is going to sound crazy but I felt like photography was for "artistic" people and I didn't see myself as that. So I left photography alone, only taking photos of my sisters/close family friends for special occasions and snapping nature shots during our family's annual camping trips with mom's camera. Then Christmas 2019, I got my first real camera. Even then, it stayed tucked away pretty often. But 2020 shinned light on how precious time, moments and family really are to me. I decided to start my photography venture - and I am so happy I did.

I am a mom of 5 babies.
I am a wife to a big burly man. ;)

We have a Lab mix and a Great Dane.
We also have some laying hens as part of our zoo.
I love all animals but hippos and pigs have my heart.
I've always had a dream of having my own little homestead but do not have a green thumb.
I find a lot of joy in helping others and have a [bad] tendency of having really long talks with strangers I meet at grocery stores.
I get weird post-conversation anxiety.
Since becoming a stay at home mom, I've become that person that talks too much because I crave good conversation... talking with my babies all day long can get repetitive.
I am extremely forgetful.
Our home is my safe space.
I really enjoy window shopping - particularly for jewelry (if you've never walked into a jewelry store and asked to try on their most expensive piece just because... you're missing out).
